Hi friends, Mom here!
I wanted to take a moment to welcome you to the new blog! Some of you may have followed along with my previous blog, Buckiddo, where I documented my journey through pregnancy. I knew that after the pregnancy, I wanted to create a blog with a bit of a more specific focus, and children’s books seemed like a natural direction. I’m excited for this blog to grow into something that Kiddo and I can do together as she gets older. Books are the perfect bonding experience, and discussing them is great fun! We’re so happy to share our thoughts with you.
We’ll be doing mostly picture books and board books to start, as Kiddo’s attention span for longer stories is still pretty hit or miss. (She is only one right now, after all!) As she advances, so will the complexity and structure of the books we review. If a book becomes a favorite that she can enjoy at different levels, we will update the review to reflect her new thoughts, and mark the ages of each review at that time.
The small strip of books at the top shows books that we currently own, and that will be reviewed on the blog. It doesn’t show all, and it displays them randomly from a shelf in our Goodreads account. A few that will definitely be coming up shortly are…
